Recreating Nintendo's Rarest Item

Since nobody can seem to find Nintendo’s rarest Controller Pak item… how about we just recreate one ourselves?

It turns out I am not the first one to test a Famicom game on an actual N64 console! This process was originally replicated by Jhynjhiruu on the Chinese iQue version of the game, where Balloon Fight was successfully loaded on hardware. Zoinkity, whom you might know from their translation patch efforts, also looked into this a couple years ago and tested the feature on console.

Datel, a UK electronics company, actually manufactured a third party Controller Pak that properly formatted multiple 32KB memory banks. This Controller Pak was 1MB in size, allowing for larger games to fit.
